Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Silence On Saudi Club Transfer Rumours

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken the silence on the rumour linking him with a big-money move to Saudia Arabia club Al Nassr.

After his contract was ended, Cristiano Ronaldo was released by Manchester United. He is the only Portugal player without a club at the FIFA World Cup 2022. The drama-filled season that Ronaldo has had, in which he barely played for United, has left few clubs where the Portuguese have been connected to since his departure from the Red Devils. Al Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, has offered a staggering 200 million Euros per annum salary. Although some reports indicate that the parties have already reached a deal, the forward of 37 years has broken the silence.

Multiple reports claim that Ronaldo has denied reaching an agreement with Al Nassr. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldo, denied that he had reached an agreement with Al Nassr.

Ronaldo has had a tumultuous time over the last few months. He hasn’t just had a falling out with Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag but also with the club’s bosses, some of allegedly were trying to force the striker out of the club. As for Ronaldo, it doesn’t look like he will be in the starting XI against Morocco in Portugal’s quarter-final. With his goalscoring form fading off, it could be tough for the goalscoring icon to find a new top club after the World Cup is over.
