Matt Miazga is a professional soccer player who recently joined FC Cincinnati from Chelsea FC.
After six years with Chelsea, Matt Miazga has returned to the MLS. The former New York Red Bulls defender has signed a contract with FC Cincinnati and will remain with the team until the 2025 season.
Miazga has a lengthy resume that includes appearances with Vitesse, Nantes, Reading, Anderlecht, Alaves, and Chelsea. He also has 22 caps for the United States national team.
FC Cincinnati is currently ninth in the Eastern Conference and could reach the playoffs for the first time in club history if Miazga stays with the club.
Matt Miazga is a centre-back who has attracted the attention of many clubs. His talents as a centre-back have even caught the eye of Chelsea.
Since joining Chelsea in January 2016, Miazga has been on loan. He has played for four different teams in four countries. He has only made two first-team appearances for the Blues.
